The SpeakOut Illinois 2012 conference will be held on Saturday, January 28 at the Doubletree Oak Brook Hotel in Oak Brook, Illinois with the theme, "Reclaim America for Life!" This year's featured speaker will be Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood director and Employee of the Month turned pro-life activist.
Abby's talk, The Other Side of the Fence chronicles her experiences with the nation's largest abortion chain and her conversion to the pro-life cause after seeing the truth about abortion.
Workshops will include Children Are a Treasure by Allan Carlson, president of the Howard Center, Engaging College Students in the Fight for Life by John-Paul Deddens, executive director of Students for Life of Illinois, Communicating Your Message Effectively by Tom Ciesielka, president of TC Public Relations, and a Political Panel with David Smith of the Illinois Family Institute, Ralph Rivera of Illinois Citizens for Life and Bob Gilligan of the Illinois Catholic Conference.
